Job summary

OnePay is seeking a Quality Platform Engineer to shape how engineering teams ship to production by building internal tooling that catches problems before customers see them. You will design shared automation frameworks for web, mobile, and backend, and maintain scalable test infrastructure to ensure fast feedback loops.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend/backend/platform engineering with a strong testing focus.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js, and architecting test frameworks.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS) and containerized test environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and own shared automation frameworks used by engineering teams across web, mobile, and backend services
• Build and maintain infrastructure that runs automated suites reliably at scale, including flaky-test detection and triage tooling
• Partner with engineering teams to raise coverage and testing maturity, embedding quality practices into the development workflow
• Develop platform for test environment provisioning, data management, and parallelized execution to keep feedback loops fast
• Define quality standards, provide observability (coverage, pass rates, run times), and maintain documentation and best practices to help engineers write and maintain effective automated tests
