Qualifications

• Active Delaware Bar admission is required.
• 3+ years of legal experience preferred, though strong Delaware-barred attorneys with less experience will be considered.
• Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, or related civil litigation helpful.
• Strong legal writing, research, and communication skills.
• Willingness to appear in Delaware court hearings and depositions.

Responsibilities

• Manage personal injury and workers' compensation matters while developing effective case strategies.
• Work directly with clients and guide them through the litigation and claims process.
• Handle discovery, legal research, pleadings, motions, correspondence, and other case-related work.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, court hearings, negotiations, and other litigation proceedings.
• Evaluate case facts, liability, damages, medical evidence, and settlement opportunities.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to move cases efficiently toward successful resolution.
• Develop your courtroom, litigation, negotiation, and client-management skills through meaningful hands-on experience.
• Take increasing ownership of cases as your experience and capabilities grow.
