Job summary

Sans seeks a skilled Full Stack Engineer to power both customer experiences and internal systems. You’ll own the headless storefront on Shopify Hydrogen, work with Next.js apps, and contribute to AI tools that optimize UX, data flows, and operations.

The role requires hands-on development, fast iteration, and collaboration with the CEO and Director of E‑Commerce to prioritize technical work. This is a high-visibility, individual contributor position in a small, ambitious team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred.
• 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills.
• Experience with Shopify ecosystem (Storefront API/Admin API). Hydrogen/headless Shopify preferred.
• Strong Next.js experience for internal and customer-facing apps.
• Experience integrating Klaviyo/Attentive/Gorgias via APIs and webhooks.
• Active daily use of AI development tools (Claude/Copilot) in production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve the Sans headless storefront on Shopify Hydrogen and React Router with a focus on conversion and performance.
• Build commerce experiences connecting web and forthcoming mobile app.
• Architect and ship AI features, including a conversational recommender for home use cases.
• Develop systems turning customer feedback into usable signals from tickets, reviews, and social data.
• Create internal tools and AI-powered workflows to speed up operations and growth.
• Maintain integrations across the ecommerce stack with APIs and webhooks.
