Job summary

Sans is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to own the storefront and internal tools. You’ll work on Shopify Hydrogen storefronts, Next.js apps, and AI tooling that powers both customer experience and operations. The role requires hands-on coding, rapid iteration, and a bias for action within a small, ambitious team.

The ideal candidate brings strong React/TypeScript, Shopify headless experience, and comfort with AI development tools. Hybrid work in Culver City, CA with some remote days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 4–7 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production apps.
• Strong React and TypeScript skills.
• Shopify ecosystem experience; Hydrogen/headless Shopify strongly preferred.
• Strong Next.js experience for internal tools and customer-facing apps.
• Experience integrating third‑party platforms via APIs/webhooks; AI tooling in production.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve Sans headless storefront on Shopify Hydrogen and React Router with focus on conversion and performance.
• Build commerce experience supporting upcoming mobile app; connect web and app seamlessly.
• Architect and ship AI features including conversational recommendations for home use cases.
• Turn customer feedback into usable signals from tickets, reviews, and social comments.
• Develop internal AI-powered workflows for faster cross‑team delivery.
• Maintain and expand integrations with Klaviyo, Attentive, Gorgias; manage APIs/webhooks.
• Collaborate with Digital/Creative/CX to translate needs into shipped software.
• Contribute to technical strategy and modern tooling for faster delivery.
