Job summary

CS Group USA seeks an Embedded Software Verification Engineer to verify real-time embedded software for aerospace systems. The role emphasizes DO-178C lifecycle compliance and robust verification strategy development.

Location can be onsite in Connecticut or hybrid, with potential travel up to two weeks per year. Strong C/C++ and Python skills, plus a bachelor’s in a related field, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and embedded languages (C/C++, Python).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and root-cause investigation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform verification activities for embedded aerospace and defense systems, including artifact review and test development.
• Collaborate with team members and project leadership.
• Ensure DO-178C compliance of verification artifacts.
• Utilize simulation, integration, target hardware, and HIL testing strategies.
• Ensure traceability and accurate testing solutions from high-level to low-level requirements.
• Identify and analyze verification findings and support schedules and quality objectives.
• Demonstrate ability to learn and adapt quickly.
