Job summary

Idaho Power, based in Boise, Idaho, seeks an Engineering and Construction Project Manager or Senior to join our Planning, Engineering, and Construction team. The role manages transmission, distribution, and substation projects with a focus on safety, cost, schedule, and quality, while guiding cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent.
• 2 years of related project management or engineering experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Senior: 6 years PM/engineering experience including 3 years full-scope utility PM.

Responsibilities

• Manage transmission, distribution, and substation projects to meet system capacity, reliability, and financial goals.
• Lead development and execution of project plans (safety, scope, cost, schedule, cash flow, quality, risk).
• Direct project teams to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously; exercise judgment in decision-making.
• Senior role involves independent action and technical judgment.
