The role focuses on treatment planning for 3D, IMRT/VMAT, and electron therapies, with responsibilities spanning image fusion, dose summation, and QA support. The position begins on-site at Longwood/Boston with 4 days per week in the clinic and one remote day, potentially moving to up to 50% remote after proficiency is demonstrated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical dosimetry or related science.
• Master's degree in Accredited Dosimetry Program preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience.
• Experience in 3D and IMRT/VMAT treatment planning.
• Advanced technical computer skills for system support.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation treatment planning services for external beam irradiation.
• Generate graphically planned cases (3D, IMRT and electron).
• Monitor correct implementation of treatment plan.
• Assist during CT simulation and treatment setup processes.
• Work closely with physicians and medical physicists to ensure high quality treatment plans.
• Provide training/teach students, residents, and other staff in treatment planning.
• Participate in improvement projects and departmental committees.
