Job summary

Northmarq, a leading capital markets resource for commercial real estate, seeks a Compliance Analyst in Bloomington, MN. The role supports the Legal & Compliance team, ensuring regulatory adherence across lending, servicing and investment sales, with a flexible in-office schedule and remote options when appropriate.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in compliance or risk management within regulated environments, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong knowledge of federal privacy and lending rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Communications, paralegal studies, legal studies, or a related field (preferred).
• Paralegal certification (preferred).
• Experience with regulatory, governance or legal initiatives in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance-related filings and registration requirements and coordinate timely submissions.
• Manage licensing and registration for company professionals and track renewals.
• Maintain compliance records, reporting, and administrative processes for audit readiness.
• Coordinate preservation efforts and regulatory inquiries with stakeholders and counsel.
• Assist with compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and special projects.
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting CRE lending, servicing, and investment sales and implement changes.
• Research regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts for business decisions.
• Support agency lending programs and broker licensing regulatory frameworks.
• Additional responsibilities may align with department strategies and objectives.
