Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, literacy, or closely related field.
• Reading intervention certification or endorsement (e.g., Arizona Reading Specialist K-12).
• Specialized training or certification in dyslexia intervention or related structured literacy approaches.
• At least 2 years delivering small-group or one-on-one reading interventions for grades 3–8.
• Experience supporting students with dyslexia or related reading difficulties.
• Ability to interpret progress monitoring data and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Strong ability to engage and manage students in virtual settings through clear, motivating communication.
• Available to work in a hybrid capacity in Arizona as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver virtual small-group and one-on-one reading intervention sessions for grades 3–8.
• Use reading assessment data to target fluency and comprehension gaps and adjust instruction.
• Differentiate activities across multiple reading levels, including support for dyslexia.
• Track progress in a clear, consistent way and use data to plan next sessions.
• Run structured motivation check-ins to build confidence and growth.
