Job summary

Mochi Medical is hiring a Remote Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to extend virtual obesity medicine and metabolic health care. You’ll deliver evidence-based nutritional support and guide patients across dermatology, hormone health, mental wellness, longevity, and more.

As part of a fast-growing startup, you’ll use motivational interviewing, coordinate care online, and help educate patients through blogs and program content while staying current with the latest research.

Qualifications

• Licensed RDN with at least 1 year of experience.
• Active state license in at least one state.
• Experience in obesity medicine, binge eating disorder, and nutrition-based approaches.
• Proficient with online scheduling tools, EMR, and video visits.
• Strong skills in motivational interviewing and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one virtual consultations to discuss nutrition, obesity medicine, and personalized meal planning.
• Provide nutritional counseling across multiple specialty areas (dermatology, hormone health, mental wellness, longevity, hair loss).
• Build rapport and engagement with members via exceptional communication.
• Use motivational interviewing to guide sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide guidance on lifestyle choices tailored to metabolic health, performance, longevity.
• Stay up-to-date with obesity medicine research.
• Collaborate with team to ensure holistic patient care.
• Adapt to fast-paced startup environment and contribute to team-wide improvements.
• Engage in educational content creation (blog writing, social media, program development).
