Job summary

Luro Health is a mission-driven telehealth start-up delivering care to Medicare and Medicaid patients. We are seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary obesity medicine team delivering care virtually.

You will conduct nutrition assessments via telehealth, provide MNT for obesity and related conditions, and develop individualized care plans while coordinating with physicians, NPs, health coaches, and care coordinators. This remote role supports growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Active RD/RDN credential in good standing.
• Active license in state(s) of practice (LD/LDN or CD/CDN).
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field.
• Clinical/ambulatory experience providing nutrition counseling or MNT.
• Experience with obesity/weight management and telehealth (preferred).
• Strong patient-centered counseling and documentation; interdisciplinary team work.
• Comfort with EHRs, telehealth platforms; reliable private HIPAA workspace.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments via virtual/telehealth visits.
• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for obesity and chronic conditions; develop care plans.
• Deliver nutrition education using motivational interviewing and behavior-change strategies.
• Support patient engagement through clear communication; elevate clinical concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, NPs, health coaches, and care coordinators; participate in care planning.
• Document encounters, assessments, and care plans in the EHR; use telehealth tools effectively.
• Maintain licensure standards, HIPAA compliance, and required training.
