Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver virtual care for midlife and menopausal transitions. You will conduct video visits, work with a multi-specialty team, and guide patients through multi-week programs with evidence-based nutrition therapy.

This 1099 contractor role offers flexible scheduling, onboarding bonus, and compensation based on active visit hours, with AI-enabled charting support to minimize admin tasks.

Qualifications

• National RD certification with licensure in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of evidence-based nutrition counseling experience.
• Ability to commit to at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort with telehealth, video visits, and EMR usage.
• Strong clinical independence and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal patients.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team including the medical provider and therapist to craft cohesive care plans.
• Partner with patients over multi-week programs to drive sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold privacy and compliance standards for all Pomelo visits.
