Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a skilled RCM Training & Process Optimization Specialist to develop and deliver training and SOPs across Revenue Cycle Management. You will translate complex workflows into practical documentation and partner with operational leaders to standardize processes and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities include creating end-to-end workflow documentation, delivering training, and supporting system changes and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management operations and healthcare billing workflows.
• Experience in one or more RCM functions (Billing, AR, Payment Posting, Cash Reconciliation, Claims).
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
• Ability to map end-to-end workflows and identify dependencies.
• Experience developing SOPs, process documentation, training materials, or workflows.
• Strong written communication to translate complex processes into instructions.
• Experience training individuals or groups on systems or procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies.
• Comfortable working with operational teams and leadership to gather information.
• Highly organized with attention to documentation standards.
• Ability to manage multiple documentation/training initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SOPs across RCM departments.
• Document end-to-end RCM workflows and process maps.
• Create training materials and job aids for new systems.
• Lead training for new hires and ongoing education.
• Partner with leadership to identify gaps and improvements.
• Monitor and optimize RCM processes for efficiency and consistency.
• Ensure documentation stays current as systems change.
• Translate system functionality into practical workflows and instructions.
• Support implementation of process improvements and automation.
