Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant specializing in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to join our Professional Services team.

This fully remote role supports clients across the United States, providing expert guidance through setup, configuration, and optimization of Raintree’s RCM, billing, and clearinghouse workflows for maximum financial efficiency. The position manages client implementations end-to-end, collaborates with payer enrollment and clearinghouse

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 of the following areas: Revenue Cycle Management, Medical Billing Software, Implementations, Product/Project Management, Training.
• Direct experience with medical billing workflows and RCM operations (charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, AR).
• Familiarity with therapy-specific billing requirements (PT/OT/ST) beneficial; Medicare Part B rules and modifiers are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the implementation for new and existing clients.
• Configure the Raintree application leveraging best practices for revenue cycle, billing, and clinical workflows.
• Analyze client billing operations, fee schedules, payer setups, and charge capture to optimize clean claim rates and AR days.
• Lead setup, configuration, and testing of electronic claim submission, remittance advice, eligibility verification, and clearinghouse integrations.
• Partner with clearinghouse and payer enrollment teams for smooth EDI/EFT/ERA connections.
• Direct end-to-end testing of clinical-to-billing handoffs from scheduling to final claim submission.
• Train client billing teams on claim scrubbing, denial management, patient statements, and financial reporting.

Implementation Consultant – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

This position is fully remote and may be performed ideally from one of the following U.S. states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IN, IL, MA, MD, MI, MS, NC, OK, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI.

We are currently seeking an exceptional Implementation Consultant specializing in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to join our team and support our clients. This role is fully remote anywhere in the U.S.

The RCM Implementation Consultant will manage the implementation process for an assigned client list, working directly with clients to identify, prioritize, and manage strategic revenue cycle and clinical setup needs for an efficient and effective implementation. The RCM Implementation Consultant serves as the primary subject matter expert guiding healthcare organizations through the setup, configuration, and optimization of Raintree’s revenue cycle management, billing, and clearinghouse workflows for maximum financial efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the implementation for new and existing clients.

• Configure the Raintree application utilizing best practices for the latest features and functionality in the system for a given client, with specific emphasis on revenue cycle, billing, and clinical workflows.

• Analyze client billing operations, fee schedules, payer setups, and charge capture workflows to configure Raintree’s RCM module for optimal clean claim rates and reduced days in AR.

• Lead the setup, configuration, and testing of electronic claim submission, electronic remittance advice, real-time eligibility verification, and clearinghouse integrations.

• Partner with clearinghouse representatives and payer enrollment teams to ensure smooth transition and onboarding of electronic data interchange (EDI), electronic funds transfer (EFT), and ERA connections.

• Direct comprehensive end-to-end testing of clinical-to-billing handoffs—from scheduling, co-pay collection, and clinical documentation charge capture through to final claim generation and submission.

• Train client billing teams, billers, and revenue cycle managers through key product learning milestones, including claim scrubbing, denial management, patient statement processing, and financial reporting.

• Serve as a direct point of customer contact during the implementation.

• Proactively and independently manage client escalations.

• Assist in the review of client processes and the development of new workflow plans.

• Communicate progress updates weekly or as agreed upon with the client.

• Ensure implementation milestones are met on time.

• Coordinate data conversion, interface, and EDI/clearinghouse timelines and expectations.

• Follow project plans and manage scope and timeline, escalating to project managers as needed.

• Hand off to Client Support when the client has successfully completed the implementation process.

• Support sales team in hand-off of new clients.

• Assure overall client satisfaction.

• Perform other duties as needed and directed by project managers.

Position Proficiencies and Requirements

• Must have experience in at least 2 of the following areas: Revenue Cycle Management / Medical Billing Software, Implementations, Product/Project Management, Training.

• Direct experience with medical billing workflows and RCM operations (charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, denial management, and AR management).

• Solid understanding of clearinghouse operations, electronic claim formats, ERAs , eligibility and claim scrubbers.

• Familiarity with therapy-specific billing requirements (PT/OT/ST), including Medicare Part B rules, modifiers, cap limits, and authorization tracking, is a strong plus.

• A Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.

• Web-based Training or Classroom Training/Coaching experience is a plus.

• Knowledge of medical computerized billing, EMR/EHR systems, and scheduling software systems required.

• Work experience in a medical office environment, billing office, customer service, IT, or support desk is a plus.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Office, or Google Workspace.
