Job summary

Center for oral and maxillofacial surger seeks a RCM Specialist II to manage AR follow-up, post payments and credits, and audit accounts for accuracy. This role supports the full revenue cycle and requires attention to payer guidelines and HIPAA compliance.

The position is remote for the United States, with full-time hours, Monday–Friday. Strong Excel and practice management software skills are preferred, and CPC/CRCP credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Dental office revenue cycle experience including scheduling, registration, verification, coding, AR follow up and posting.
• Knowledge of reimbursement/compliance with all payors.
• Experience with practice management software and MS Office; strong Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Certified CPC or CRCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform AR follow-up to resolve unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Post payments and credits accurately; reconcile remittances.
• Audit accounts for accurate submission and application of payments.
• Review and resolve credit balances; process refunds.
• Apply adjustments and write-offs per payer contracts.
• Monitor AR aging to reduce days in AR.
• Maintain documentation of account activities and communications.
• Collaborate with billing and front office to ensure clean claims.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and internal policies.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss performance metrics and process improvements.
