Job summary

Carenet Health is seeking a Health Advisor to support patients via a remote contact center in scheduling diagnostic imaging and other services. You will manage high-volume calls and messages, coordinate appointments across CT, MRI, X-ray, labs, and specialty care while ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

In this role, you will document interactions in CRM platforms, verify insurance, and communicate with patients, providers, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum six months in healthcare contact center or patient access preferred.
• Work-from-home in private, secure environment with HIPAA compliance.
• Strong verbal and empathy; telephone etiquette.
• Ability to multitask across multiple systems while maintaining accuracy.
• Typing speed of 40+ words per minute minimum.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound patient interactions to support scheduling and coordination of imaging services.
• Schedule, reschedule, cancel, and confirm patient appointments across diagnostic imaging and specialty service lines.
• Respond to patient inquiries regarding imaging services, appointment availability, preparation instructions, verifying insurance, and general service information.
• Document all patient interactions in CRM platforms.
• Review patient orders, referrals, and provider instructions to ensure proper scheduling.
• Navigate multiple systems while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers and internal teams to coordinate care.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism in patient interactions.
