Job summary

Sequoia Communications Inc. is seeking a Radio Systems Technician to join our field team in California or remotely. The technician will handle the installation, programming, and maintenance of VHF/UHF communication systems across construction sites and in vehicles. Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience with LMR (Land Mobile Radio) or VHF/UHF systems.
• Solid understanding of basic RF principles.
• Comfortable working on large-scale construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on installation of VHF/UHF radio infrastructure.
• Install and configure mobile radio hardware across vehicle fleets.
• Program and tune handheld and mobile radios.
• Diagnose and resolve RF interference and connectivity issues.
• Utilize RF testing equipment to verify system performance.

Skills

Experience with LMR or VHF/UHF systems

Programming and hardware knowledge of Motorola, Tait, and Kenwood

Diagnosis and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work in varied weather and conditions
