Job summary

VeilSun, Inc. is seeking a Quickbase Technical Lead to serve as the lead developer and technical execution leader on client engagements.

You will design scalable Quickbase solutions, mentor developers, and align with VeilSun standards to ensure high-quality delivery. You will work with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective low-code applications and guide platform adoption while collaborating with delivery teams to maintain scope and client success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of Quickbase development experience preferred.
• Experience designing Quickbase applications including workflows, data models, and automation.
• Strong understanding of process-driven applications and system design.
• Consulting or client-facing experience.
• Experience with additional low-code platforms such as Mendix, Power Apps, OutSystems, or Appian is a plus.
• Ability to mentor developers and guide technical delivery on projects.
• Experience working within Agile and Waterfall project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and development of scalable Quickbase solutions translating business requirements into applications, workflows, integrations, and data models.
• Serve as the lead developer on design projects and ongoing development engagements, guiding tasks and ensuring standards.
• Optimize application performance, usability, and maintainability through sound system design and data modeling.
• Partner with client stakeholders to understand challenges and guide platform decisions balancing speed, cost, and value.
• Collaborate with project managers to maintain scope, timelines, and successful outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to expand or enhance Quickbase solutions that improve client operations.
• Apply VeilSun development standards, governance, and reusable patterns across projects.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to strengthen team delivery.
