Job summary

We are seeking a remote Nepali-English interpreter to deliver real-time telephonic services for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience, strong ethics, and eligibility for Tier 3/5 clearance.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Nepali and English.
• 2+ years of professional interpreting experience.
• Familiarity with interpreter ethics and confidentiality requirements.
• Excellent telephone communication and cultural competency skills.
• US Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time Nepali-English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
• Interpret accurately, neutrally, and confidentially in legal and immigration contexts.
• Adhere to USCIS/DHS compliance and interpreter ethics standards.
• Handle scheduled assignments as well as urgent/surge interpretation requests.
• Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
