Pasqal is seeking a Quantum Error Correction Engineer (W/M) to join the hardware-focused engineering team. The role focuses on selecting error-correcting codes, benchmarking protocols, and developing decoders within neutral-atom hardware contexts.

You will contribute to designing fault-tolerant logical operations, connecting error budgets to physical noise models, and building numerical tools for QEC simulations.

Qualificações

• PhD or equivalent in quantum error correction or related field.
• Background in fault-tolerant quantum computing.

Responsabilidades

• Select, adapt, and benchmark QEC codes for neutral-atom hardware.
• Develop and evaluate decoding approaches under realistic noise.
• Develop logical error models and budgets linked to physical noise.
• Design and benchmark fault-tolerant logical operations.
• Provide QEC-driven inputs to future QPU architectures.
• Develop and maintain QEC simulation tools.
• Write reports and scientific articles.
• Represent the company at conferences and industry events.
