Job summary

Aspen Aerogels is seeking a Corporate Quality Systems Engineer to drive the quality culture across our aerogel manufacturing operations. This remote role partners with Operations, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D, and EHS to ensure conformance to customer requirements and regulatory standards.

The position reports to the Corporate Quality Manager and requires leadership in audits, document control, and continuous improvement within the Aspen Management System.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or related field.
• 5+ years of quality management system experience preferred.
• Experience implementing or auditing ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 audits.
• Maintain and improve the Aspen Quality Management System across locations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, corrective actions, and follow-up.
• Lead the internal auditor team and ensure competency.
• Collaborate with Operations, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D and EHS.
