The ideal candidate has 5+ years in QA/QC within industrial manufacturing, plus 2+ years of lab leadership, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial manufacturing, chemicals, specialty materials, or a related processing environment.
• 2+ years of laboratory supervisory or leadership experience.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification required.
• Experience with wet chemistry, physical materials testing, analytical instrumentation, and statistical process control.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• ASQ CMQ/OE or CQE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including document control, procedures, and audit readiness.
• Lead third party registration and customer audits.
• Provide direction, training, and support to laboratory and site quality personnel.
• Oversee physical and chemical testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure analytical methods are validated and laboratory instruments are calibrated and maintained.
• Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive action.
• Manage laboratory resources, budgets, and quality performance metrics.
