Job summary
OneStream is seeking a Manager of Quality Engineering to lead a team of Quality Engineers and SDETs, driving quality practices across the engineering organization. This role owns the execution and consistency of the quality strategy, centered on risk-based exploratory testing and automation, guiding teams to actionable insights that influence product decisions.
As part of the leadership, you will collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align quality activities with delivery goals,
Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years in software quality.
- Strong understanding of modern QE practices including exploratory testing, test automation, observability and CD.
- Proven ability to coach and mentor engineers and drive cross-team alignment on quality strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach QEs and SDETs across multiple product teams.
- Enable risk-based exploratory testing via charter creation and test design.
- Drive automation maturity and ownership of automation suites.
- Collaborate with product/engineer leaders to align quality with delivery goals and risk tolerance.
- Partner with automation architects and regression staff for sustainable automation coverage.
- Tell the quality story with metrics, coverage and risk insights.
- Mentor team in automation, test design and observability.
