Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to perform quality and safety testing of ingredients, in-process and finished products. You will support QA programs, maintain COA records, and ensure adherence to Balchem quality standards.

The role requires lab experience, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail, with responsibilities including sample management, document control, and collaboration with supply chain QA teams.

Qualifications

• Lab experience is required and food-handling experience is desirable.
• HACCP knowledge and understanding required; PCQI preferred.
• Must have strong analytical and technical skills.
• Must be organized with time management and meticulous documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections for incoming raw materials and packaging per company standards.
• Conduct testing and release sampling; prepare analyses for external labs as needed.
• Maintain and manage sample inventory and documentation for raw materials and finished goods.
• Support QA programs and respond to customer and QA sample requests.
• Maintain document control and ensure compliance with Balchem quality standards.
