Job summary

Balchem Corporation, and its subsidiaries, seeks a Quality Control Technician to perform physical and chemical analysis on raw materials and products in our lab environment. You will collect samples, analyze according to procedures, and document results with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires familiarity with Excel, Word, and Outlook, plus the ability to work independently in a laboratory setting while adhering to GMP and safety practices. Some shift flexibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily.
• Must be familiar with Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Must have experience in testing and recording test results.
• Must be able to communicate results quickly and accurately.
• Science background preferred and experience operating scientific equipment a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples for analysis and distributes them appropriately.
• Performs chemical and physical analysis on product, ingredient and control samples per procedures.
• Records all product analysis according to laboratory protocols and data entry.
• Communicates critical information regarding analysis and test results.
• Covers lab responsibilities during the absence of the QA Leader.
