OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specs and packages, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to customer standards.

The role focuses on cost of quality tracking and process improvements across quotations, engineering, and service delivery. Reporting to the Services Quality Leader, this 100% remote position emphasizes documentation, surveillance audits, and corrective action implementation to drive quality and customer satisfaction across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Approximately 5 years in telecom quality/auditing roles.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements, standards and contractual deliverables.
• Proficiency with Excel and SharePoint for data analysis and tracking.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM, or document control systems.
• Understanding of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) and basic cost accounting concepts.
• Prior participation in internal surveillance or customer audits within manufacturing, repair, or service environments.
• Certification or training in internal auditing.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness against customer standards and drive timely corrections.
• Audit engineering packages (drawings, BOMs, build docs, ECNs/changes) for compliance.
• Audit Methods of Procedure and End of Job packages for safe installation and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure version control and alignment between customer requirements and service deliverables.
• Track Cost of Quality metrics and support corrective actions to reduce costs and improve satisfaction.
• Initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams to prevent recurrence.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection and internal surveillance audits, including evidence gathering and closure of actions.
• Communicate recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per retention, confidentiality, and customer requirements.
