Job summary

Planet Group is seeking an experienced QA/Testing Consultant for a fixed-term 6-month engagement. You will conduct a comprehensive review of current testing practices and establish a clear framework for test types, ownership, responsibilities, and testing evidence requirements.

The consultant will work with the PMO BPI team, IT, and other stakeholders to develop a practical testing ownership model and a Testing Strategy and Approach Playbook.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software, system, and business testing experience.
• Experience with QA governance, testing strategy, and documentation.
• Ability to define testing roles, ownership, and evidence requirements.
• Familiarity with test automation approaches and data management.

Responsibilities

• Current State Review: define test types, purposes, and usage contexts.
• Future State Testing Approach: outline types and owners for each test.
• Define who creates, performs, reviews, and approves tests.
• Establish minimum documentation and evidence per test type.
• Identify gaps, overlaps, and inconsistencies in the current process.
• Recommend modern testing methodologies, automation, and tooling.
