Job summary

Slalom is hiring a TRIPS Application QA Tester to support a large-scale Core Deposit Replacement program within the financial services sector. The role emphasizes manual testing across critical banking and payment processing apps to ensure quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has strong manual testing experience and proficiency with Tosca, qTest, Zephyr, or Xray, plus experience supporting financial services platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing or QA experience.
• Hands-on Tosca and qTest or Zephyr/Xray experience.
• Strong manual testing methodologies and defect management.
• Experience on large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Lead manual testing efforts across assigned workstreams.
• Track, document, and manage defects through resolution.
• Coordinate testing activities with business, technology, and project teams.
• Support system, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
• Validate business requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
