Job summary

Tantus Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Test Engineer to test and deliver complex software ensuring it meets functional, non-functional and compliance requirements. You will generate test data, execute manual tests, and assist with triaging defects.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing with various testing strategies (Regression, Functional, Smoke, Usability).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Agile development methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
• Strong test case writing, test planning, and documentation skills.
• Experience with requirements traceability and Agile Software Development Lifecycle (ASDLC).
• Preferred familiarity with Pega Platform, React and Azure DevOps Pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end functional, regression, system and integration testing.
• Collaborate within an Agile test team to uphold testing best practices.
• Review requirements, UX flows, and clinical use cases to develop test scenarios and cases.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency and software quality.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on requirements.
• Collaborate with Test Automation Engineer to identify automation opportunities and develop test automation.
• Condition and generate test data and ensure data compliance across environments.
• Execute test cases, both manual and automated, and record results.
• Report issues with background information for review and triage.
