Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to audit engineering specifications and packages, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer standards. This role reports to the Services Quality Leader and is 100% remote.

You will track CoPQ metrics, support TL 9000 data collection, and drive corrective actions with engineering, program management, and operations. A high school diploma and telecom audit experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• ~5 years telecom industry experience including DC power installation/engineering, toll/fiber installation, project management.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and audit practices.
• Excel and SharePoint proficiency for tracker maintenance and Cost of Quality calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication to document audit evidence and findings.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, PLM/PDM, or document control systems.
• Understanding of CoPQ categories and basic cost accounting concepts.
• Past participation in internal surveillance audits or customer audits within manufacturing, repair, or service environments.
• Certification or training in internal auditing; note visa sponsorship policy is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Audit engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Audit engineering packages to verify compliance with requirements.
• Audit procedures to ensure safe installation and quality.
• Ensure version control and alignment of docs and deliverables.
• Track CoPQ metrics and support corrective actions.
• Initiate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Support TL 9000 metric collection and reporting.
• Prepare audit checklists and gather objective evidence.
• Communicate recurring issues and suggest improvements.
• Maintain audit records and evidence per retention policies.
