Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a part-time Quality Assurance Representative/Port Engineer to provide technical support and program management for Military Sealift Command vessels. Responsibilities include observing work performed by shipyard personnel, verifying project specifications, and providing reports to the Principal Port Engineer. Candidates must possess a Secret level clearance and have knowledge of ship construction. This remote position offers flexibility and a competitive salary range of $63,300 to $129,700, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel CONUS/OCOUNS 2-4 months at a time.
• Experienced with ABS and USCG regulations.
• Knowledge in structural engineering and piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor work performed to verify adherence to project specifications.
• Provide daily status reports on assigned work items.
• Attend Quality Assurance Checkpoints and report concerns.

Skills

Ability to speak/write English

Knowledge of ship construction and metal work

Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance

Physical ability to walk the entirety of a ship
