Job summary

Knotch is seeking a highly skilled QA Manager to guide automation across our product suite. This hands-on leader will build testing frameworks from scratch, hire and mentor a QA team, and work with product and engineering to ensure high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Hands-on automation development and AI tool usage.
• Experience building scalable test frameworks from ground up.
• Proven API test expertise with Postman or equivalent.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of Git and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Excellent communication and mentoring of distributed teams.
• Agile/Scrum experience with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on automation development across products.
• Manage offshore QA and build US team as needed.
• Create automated API validation on cloud services.
• Develop comprehensive test suites for engineering and product teams.
• Choose and maintain testing frameworks for scenarios.
• Define testing strategies for AI-powered features and non-determinism.
• Report progress and analyze test results.
• Perform manual, exploratory and performance testing.
• Root-cause analysis and ticketing in JIRA.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on best practices.
