Job summary

Trust Wallet is seeking an experienced QA Lead to drive quality strategy and execution across mobile, web, backend services, and APIs.

You will lead a team of QA engineers, establish scalable quality practices, and partner with Engineering, Product, Security, and other stakeholders to ship secure, reliable, and user-friendly products. This is a fully remote, globally distributed role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software quality assurance with leadership experience.
• Proven SaaS/Agile QA leadership in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on test strategy for mobile, web, backend, and APIs.
• Expertise in Appium, Selenium, and automation frameworks.
• Experience with API testing tools and network debugging.
• Proficient in Java or similar language; automation design.
• CI/CD integration of automated tests and gates.
• Knowledge of SDLC, release management, and security testing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of cryptocurrency security and blockchain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define QA strategy, standards, testing methodologies, and automation roadmap.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers for career growth.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security to define tests.
• Own end-to-end quality planning for releases.
• Establish scalable test automation across journeys.
• Introduce quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Review test plans, automation, and defects.
• Identify risks and provide release recommendations.
• Define and monitor quality metrics.
• Lead defect triage and root-cause analysis.
• Improve QA processes, tools, environments, docs.
• Champion shift-left testing and ownership.
• Stay current with QA, mobile, blockchain security.
