Remote candidates residing in AZ, CA, FL, MI, NY, NC, TX, and WA are eligible. The position involves coordinating test plans, collaborating with engineering, and driving the QA roadmap to meet studio quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA experience on software projects, with 3+ years in a QA Lead role.
• Experience leading internal test teams and/or external test partners.
• Functional and usability testing across multiple gaming platforms.
• Fluent with Jira for tracking work and reporting.
• Understanding of QA concepts, tooling, and debugging workflows.
• Experience with first-party compliance and certification testing.
• Scripting ability for automation or tooling (Python/JS/C#/similar).
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated test integration.
• Interest in applying AI/ML to QA without hype.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and oversee test plans across one or more titles, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Partner with dev teams to provide testing feedback across gameplay, content, and balance.
• Introduce automation and instrumentation to reduce manual work; integrate tests into CI pipelines.
• Explore AI-assisted QA tooling, prototype where useful, and educate the team.
• Own QA operations, certification coordination, status reporting, and risk management.
