Expedock is seeking a detailed QA / Data Collection Engineer to run proprietary collection software, execute structured test plans, and troubleshoot hardware‑level issues on personal devices to ensure flawless performance across target environments.

You will document bugs in clear English, collect crash logs and screenshots, and report findings via Slack with concise reproduction steps, coordinating with client engineering to maintain session reliability through hardware and network validation.

Qualifications

• Educational background in IT/CS or equivalent hands‑on troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows PC hardware setup, drivers, GPU config, and basic networking.
• Ability to read system logs and communicate technical details in writing.
• Fluency in written English for daily asynchronous and live collaboration via Slack.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain QA software on personal hardware meeting target specs.
• Perform structured test plans and exploratory QA during data collection runs.
• Identify and reproduce bugs, gather crash logs and screenshots, write clear reproduction steps.
• Document and report findings concisely via Slack, escalating critical issues to team leads as appropriate.
• Ensure test hardware reflects fleet target behaviors (e.g., RTX 3060-class GPU, 1080p60) and maintain redundant internet connections.
• Serve as a first-line triage to deliver high-signal feedback to client engineering teams.
