payabl. is seeking a QA Engineer – FinDB to ensure quality, stability, and reliability of financial data and payment systems. You will work across QA Automation, API and backend testing, functional testing, and debugging to deliver stable software in a complex financial environment.

The role supports remote work from Poland or Portugal (contractor) or onsite relocation in Cyprus. You will own QA activities, build automated tests, review logs, and collaborate with engineers and product teams to

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, Python and PyTest.
• Experience with API and backend testing.
• Ability to design clear, maintainable test cases.
• Strong debugging skills with logs and system behaviour.
• Good communication and ability to own tasks in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Create and execute test cases based on new feature implementations.
• Perform API and backend testing to ensure data integrity.
• Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing across FinDB systems.
• Perform manual testing when needed for full coverage.
• Prepare test scenarios, test data, and coverage based on product requirements.
• Analyze logs and system flows to identify issues and root causes.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear evidence and reproducible steps.
• Collaborate with engineers and product teams to improve quality and delivery.
• Contribute to improving test automation and QA practices.
