Job summary

Dunhill Solutions is seeking a Junior Software Tester / QA Engineer for a fully remote role with proximity within 50 miles of Washington, DC or San Antonio, TX to support a large-scale federal contract with the US Army Corps of Engineers. You will execute test plans, write and maintain test cases, and contribute to manual and automated testing efforts using Jira and Selenium.

Collaboration with developers and stakeholders will ensure defects are tracked and resolved and that release decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years in software testing or QA roles.
• Ability to design, implement, and report on test plans and cases.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and scripting concepts.
• Strong communication and office tool skills.
• Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• DoD 8140 compliance certifications desired.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Develop and maintain test cases and traceability matrices.
• Log and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Support automated test scripts using Selenium or similar tools.
• Assist with test environment setup and data preparation.
• Produce test reports and risk metrics for releases.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and quality.
