Job summary

Snapsheet is seeking aQuality Assurance Engineer to join our remote team. You will write end-to-end UI automation and validate microservices with robust API tests, while collaborating with product and software engineering to define test criteria early in feature design.

You will own and scale UI automation frameworks, contribute to the embedded product team’s testing strategy, and help drive a quality-first culture across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• BS in related discipline or equivalent working experience
• 3+ years of experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (Ruby and JavaScript preferred)
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitHub, Zephyr/TestRail
• Understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies
• Experience testing web and/or mobile apps
• Strong self-motivation and independent work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Drive Upstream Quality with Product and Engineering during early feature design
• Develop domain expertise to guide risk analysis and test coverage
• Architect and expand robust UI automation frameworks for key user journeys
• Design and maintain automated API test suites for microservices and integrations
• Monitor test runs, triage failures, and fix flaky tests with engineers
• Build utilities and data generators to speed up testing
• Translate bottlenecks into scalable tooling for the whole org
• Integrate test execution into CI/CD pipelines to stabilize deployments
