Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a Quality Engineer focused on test automation for backend systems, APIs, microservices, and data pipelines. You will design automated frameworks, build test suites in Pytest/Selenium/Playwright, and ensure data quality and pipeline correctness within CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QA or software testing engineering experience
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, Appium)
• Experience testing REST APIs and backend microservices
• Familiarity with CI/CD for automated test execution and scripting in Python/Java
• Understanding of data validation and pipeline testing concepts

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for backend APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
• Develop test suites using Pytest, Selenium, Playwright, or equivalent frameworks
• Validate data pipeline output quality, including data accuracy and schema adherence
• Build and maintain integration and end-to-end test automation within CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define acceptance criteria and shift-left testing
• Perform performance and load testing for high-volume transaction systems
