Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
• Minimum five years of hands-on automation-testing experience.
• Strong programming experience in Python and Pytest.
• Experience with REST API testing and automation using libraries such as requests.
• Hands-on experience with test-reporting tools (Allure/Pytest HTML).
• Experience with API gateway, downstream-system integration testing, SQL, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to create test scenarios and cases.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.
• Develop reusable automation-framework components, fixtures, utilities, and test data.
• Perform REST API testing and automate API test cases.
• Validate API requests/responses, status codes, headers, payloads, and error scenarios.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects; support releases.
