Job summary

micro1 is seeking a QA Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of our products in a remote-working setup. You will test new features, identify issues, and help improve coverage and processes across the development lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on test automation, strong manual testing fundamentals, and familiarity with agile lifecycles to ship quickly while maintaining high quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance within agile environments.
• Strong manual testing fundamentals and test planning skills.
• Experience implementing, maintaining, and executing automated tests.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

Responsibilities

• Own testing activities across new features, product improvements, and bug fixes.
• Design, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, track, and validate bugs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Build and maintain automated tests to improve regression coverage and overall testing efficiency.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across the product.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including planning, refinement, and release cycles.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and product quality.
• Manage testing priorities and communicate blockers, risks, and findings.
