Job summary

Intuvia Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The role emphasizes manual testing with exposure to automation, API testing, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

2–4 years of software testing/QA experience.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and defect life cycle.
Hands-on manual testing and test-case design.
Experience with Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
Familiar with API testing and Postman.
Remote-friendly; able to work in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

Review requirements to understand testing needs.
Create detailed test plans, scenarios, cases, and scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, and UAT testing.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
Perform basic SQL queries for data validation as needed.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
Verify bug fixes and regression testing before releases.
Maintain testing documentation, reports, and quality metrics.
Contribute to improving QA processes and coverage.
