Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web, API, and distributed systems. In this role you will be a key contributor to engineering quality, partnering with development teams to expand test coverage and accelerate confident software delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of QA automation experience.
Hands-on with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Automating REST APIs and CI/CD integration.
Strong testing methodologies and SDLC understanding.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
SQL skills for data validation.
Strong debugging and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile testing.
Implement API automation using REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or equivalents.
Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Create and maintain regression, smoke, and functional test suites.
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing for compatibility.
Collaborate with developers to improve testability and shift quality left.
Support performance testing initiatives (JMeter, Gatling, or k6).
Maintain test documentation and defect tracking records.
Conduct root-cause analysis on production issues.
