Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Quality Assurance Editor to work remotely on a six-month contract-to-hire engagement. You will edit and QA learning materials, including job aids, instructor-led content, and web-based courses.

The ideal candidate has strong editing and proofreading skills, deep US English knowledge, and experience applying writing style guides. You will collaborate with instructional designers, SMEs, and other professionals to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects.

Qualifications

• Editing and proofreading experience on training materials and courseware.
• Strong knowledge of US English grammar, spelling, and usage.
• Familiarity with style guides and dictionaries and applying style consistently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with schedule, cost, and quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure deliverables meet customer expectations.
• Proofread, rewrite, and edit content to improve readability and correct errors.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable style, writing standards, and terminology.
• Apply style and terminology to training content to maintain consistency.
• Verify facts, dates, and statistics using standard references.
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers, SMEs, and others to align on style.
• Interface daily with project teams and test lab personnel.
