Job summary

University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist (QA Coordination) to bridge development and testing across internal teams and external partners. You will coordinate third-party QA vendors, oversee build deployment workflows, and maintain Jira database integrity.

This role involves hands-on testing for high-priority titles, developing structured test plans, and serving as the central QA contact for cross-functional teams while reviewing automated test results.

Qualifications

• Experience with QA coordination and cross-functional communication.
• Proficient in bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages.
• Strong problem-solving to unblock blockers and drive quality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate third-party QA vendors and testing partners, setting priorities and tracking performance.
• Develop and maintain test plans and documentation to track issues from discovery to resolution.
• Oversee Jira database health through cleanup and accurate bug tracking data.
• Direct daily build deployment processes to ensure successful distribution to teams.
• Perform hands-on testing for high-priority titles and investigate complex issues.
• Serve as central QA contact across cross-functional teams.
• Support senior QA coordination by managing meeting agendas and reviewing results.
