Outlier invites experienced software engineers to join a remote QA coder program that trains AI models to generate, debug, and evaluate code. You will review AI-generated code, rate model responses, and craft prompts to push the models' coding abilities.

The role is a 1099 contract on Outlier.ai. Candidates typically hold a Bachelor's in Computer Science with production code experience and strong English communication. Applicants from eligible LatAm regions are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or higher.
• Experience contributing to a live production codebase.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Excellent attention to detail (grammar, punctuation).

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated code for errors, inconsistencies, or quality issues.
• Rate and rank model responses across key dimensions (accuracy, instruction following, presentation).
• Write clear, well-structured prompts to challenge AI models.
