Job summary

Pax8 Philippines Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to own quality assurance across Salesforce and revenue technology. You will shape testing strategies, embed automation into deployment pipelines, and collaborate with admins, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure release-readiness.

You will build scalable automation frameworks, manage test data, and expand regression coverage as platforms evolve, while contributing to fast, reliable software delivery in a remote US environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in quality engineering across automated and manual testing.
• Experience managing test plans, execution tracking, reporting, and release validation using enterprise test management platforms.
• Proven ability to design effective test strategies for complex business applications and workflows.
• Strong experience with Salesforce testing and modern automation tooling.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce platform configuration concepts and business process automation.
• Experience validating APIs, integrations, and end-to-end system interactions.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices.
• Ability to develop and maintain automation scripts using modern scripting or programming languages.
• Deep knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management, risk assessment, and quality best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into business-focused recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks across Salesforce and connected business systems.
• Create and execute comprehensive test strategies that balance automation with exploratory and manual testing.
• Own test management processes and ensure coverage aligns with release objectives.
• Embed automated validation into deployment pipelines to support reliable releases.
• Collaborate with admins, developers, architects, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Expand and maintain regression coverage as platforms evolve.
• Validate integrations and data flow between Salesforce and connected technologies.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Develop robust test data and environment management practices.
• Deliver release-readiness reporting and quality insights to stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
