Global Student Pathway is seeking a QA automation engineer to own end-to-end tests for our MEAN-stack platform, focusing on critical journeys from lead capture to enrolment and agent onboarding. You will build automated suites in Playwright or Cypress, ensure permissioned access for staff, agents and admins, and wire tests into CI/CD with our DevOps pipeline. The role is remote from India with UK-like working hours.

Salary: £780 – £1,300/month. Company laptop provided.

Qualifications

3+ years testing web applications. Built substantial automated suite (not just maintained).
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript within MEAN stack. CI integrations in ecosystem.
Experience testing complex, workflow-heavy systems where state/permissions matter.

Responsabilités

Build an automated end-to-end test suite (Playwright, Cypress or similar) for critical journeys: lead capture to enrolment, quick-apply, offer/CAS/visa stages, commission calculation, and agent onboarding.
Make the permission model provably safe: automated checks that each role sees exactly what it should.
Wire the suite into CI/CD with our DevOps engineer so no release ships without the core journeys passing.
Design regression coverage for configuration changes: test impact when an admin edits a checklist, pipeline or rate card.
Do exploratory and edge-case testing on paths automation can’t reach and triage bugs with engineers.
Establish lightweight QA process: test plans for new features, a bug severity scheme, and release sign-off criteria sized for a small team.
