SplitMetrics is seeking a Team Lead (Python) to own the technical roadmap for backend and data systems. You will lead a team of backend, full stack, and QA engineers, coordinate delivery, and drive architecture modernization and data pipeline improvements.

You should bring 6+ years Python experience, 2+ years in technical leadership, and a strong track record with data lakehouse and data gathering. English at B1+ and the ability to work in a remote-first, fast-moving environment are essential.

Formación

• 6+ years Python, incl. high-performance data systems.
• 2+ years in technical leadership roles.
• Experience planning, estimating and delivering complex projects.
• Deep familiarity with data lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with data gathering / scraping.
• Strong performance optimization and scalability knowledge.
• Ability to own decisions with business impact.
• English level B1+.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of planning and delivering the technical roadmap items.
• Lead the backend, full stack and QA engineers, organizing day-to-day work and ensuring predictable delivery.
• Plan work for the next quarter and contribute to multi-quarter planning with leadership.
• Maintain and review risks registry; manage risks early.
• Optimize data pipelines, data gathering, and system reliability.
• Drive modernization of legacy services and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects on priorities and alignment.
• Ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing inside the team.
