TuxCare is seeking a Software Engineer to join the ELS Delivery Pipeline team within Endless Lifecycle Support. You will own production systems end-to-end, from requirements with stakeholders to design, implementation, deployment, and operation of solutions that automate vulnerability patching and release processes.

You will build and operate Python services, integrate scanners, and improve reliability across services, containers and data stores while collaborating with engineering teams.

Formación

• Experience building and maintaining production software in Python.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and production-debugging skills.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs and services.
• Experience with asynchronous or distributed processing.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, and build/deployment automation.
• Solid relational data modelling and SQL skills.
• Advanced hands-on use of coding agents for engineering tasks, including supervision of output.

Responsabilidades

• Build pipelines publishing security advisories from vulnerability assessments and fixes.
• Automate vulnerability assessment across large package inventories.
• Integrate vulnerability scanners and tie results to workflows.
• Build and operate Python services, CLI tools, and interfaces for assessors.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and priorities.
• Improve build and deployment automation and monitor production systems.
• Review code and improve automated testing and security.
• Use AI coding agents in development and review their output.
